Lexington Steel works tirelessly to ensure that mechanical and chemical properties meet our customer’s specifications. We test each product’s gauge, weight, width, length and Rockwell at our facility.

We review the mill certifications for each product and determine if the mechanical properties, such as tensile, yield, elongation and elastic-plastic decomposition and the chemical properties match the customer’s specifications.

If additional testing is required we send the material to a certified metallurgical laboratory.
