Lexington Steel offers logistical support to our customers all over the United States. Our customers rely on our expertise to either deliver the product or have the item ready for pickup. 

In addition, Lexington Steel has a strategic partnership with Douglass Logistics Inc., which has the ability to operate in the lower 48 states and focuses primarily in the Midwest.

Receiving Hours
Monday-Friday
6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We have four loading bays that are designed to accommodate nearly any order. We have cranes at each bay and load steel to the driver’s specifications.

Loading Guidelines

• Drivers must chock wheels
• Drivers must check in with shipping department
• Drivers are encouraged to give prior notice to ensure delivery is ready for pickup.
• Rear bay is designated for fork side loading of coils or sheets

We pride ourselves on being thorough in our packaging methods. At our facility we are able to provide our customers with specialized packaging to ensure the material reaches the customer without defects or damage that may occur during the transportation process.

We offer the following packaging services:

• Ensuring skid weight is to the customer’s specifications for safe and legal transportation
• Adding protective plastic or material wrap to combat weather damage
• Properly loading the product to ensure safe and efficient unloading
• Adding bands to secure the coil and prevent damaging the product
• Adding protective materials to prevent edge damage
